• Henry Pennerman

    Production Support Specialist, AMN Healthcare

Henry graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a Master’s Degree in Sociology, but Information Technology has always been his passion. Henry has worked as a public sector Technology Analyst for over a decade at various learning institutions including Cal State San Marcos, California State University, Irvine, and Lemon Grove School District. He currently works at Mira Costa Community College.

Henry joined Lifeline’s Board because he wants to give back. As a former foster youth and someone who has experienced the challenges of housing and food insecurity, Henry knows the support of community organizations is crucial to helping youth, adults, and families to overcome adversity.

With firsthand knowledge of the impact that youth support services can have on a young life, Henry is passionate about increasing access to Lifeline’s outreach programs. He is committed to ensuring that anyone growing up under circumstances similar to those he experienced has access to resources that help them to succeed. Henry previously demonstrated that commitment by hosting a public access cooking show that taught kids like him who had to feed themselves at a very young age how to make their own meals without using a stove or knives.
