The holidays mean celebrating with family and friends— many of us will gather to enjoy warm meals and the spirit of giving. But for many in our community, the holidays are a time of hunger and uncertainty. For low-income families, holiday dinner and gifts for their kids can be an impossible dream. YOU can make a difference this holiday season by joining us in one or more of our holiday drives and volunteer opportunities.

Donate Thanksgiving/Holiday Meals To-Go:

LifeSpring program provides transitional housing and intensive services for young adults age 18-24 as they make the move from foster living to full independence. For many of these clients, this will be their first holiday season in their own apartment living on their own. Lifeline will purchase home cooked-style holiday food from a local restaurant and volunteers will break down and allocate appropriate portion sizes based on family size and distribute to clients on November 26 and December 17. Our fundraising goal is $500 for each holiday  meal day.  Donate below.

Donate Fiesta Navideña at La Casita:
La Casita after school program is an early intervention program for at-risk youth and provides services for (on average) 30 children ages 6 to 12 on a daily basis. The site allows for a safe space for children to go to when released from school. This year, Lifeline staff and volunteers will host a traditional, Mexican holiday family dinner for the children and their families. This is a nice way to celebrate the hard work of the kids and their loved ones by serving them a holiday meal, along with other festive activities. Our fundraising goal is $500 for the event, including meals and family activities. Donate below.
